About
“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.”
Our Story
PFTNG is a community of mothers, praying for the promises of God to be fulfilled in and through their children. This ministry is the legacy of another mother, who for over two decades prayed quietly and consistently for her daughter as she navigated the turbulent waters of youth.
That daughter came to saving faith at the age of 35 and today, Barbara Jackson, Founder and Executive Director of PFTNG, continues to proclaim the goodness of God trusting the Lord for the direction of this ministry. What began with weekly prayers to cover her children’s high school class in prayer expanded to a Facebook page, and then in 2019 transitioned with her son to college. An Auburn mom’s prayer page was formed and soon added the University of Tennessee and Florida State to the movement and an official non-profit ministry was formed, December 11, 2021.
Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1-3, Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Acts 17:24-28, John 1:1-4
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind, and the divine authority for all Christian faith and life.
1 Peter 3:16
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our high priest and advocate.
Luke 1:34-35, John 1:1, 1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 4:14-16
We believe the true church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united in the body of Christ which He is the Head.
Psalm 118:22, Ephesians 1:22, Colossians 1:18
We believe in spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:42-47, Ephesians 4:3-6
