John 3:16 – Valentines Day – Lent – Easter

February – such a focus on “love” and Valentines. Today marks Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent and oh the glory of the coming of Easter. As we pray for this next generation on this Valentines day when so many can feel “unloved” “unseen” “unworthy” –  It is the ultimate Promise we cling to and the truth we share with those who don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 

I pray that (Your Student’s Name) would know that God so loved each one of them. I pray as we enter this most Holy time of year that each one of them we name here would know the sacrifice that God sent His one and only Son. The Promise that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. I pray over the next 40 days that hearts would reflect on His love and sacrifice in a new way – so  personal for each one of them and for us. I pray as we wait for Him and anticipate His Kingdom to come that we seek the Resurrection Power of Easter in our hearts every day. In Jesus Name. Amen.
