Barbara Jackson

Barbara Jackson

Founder/Executive Director

Barbara Jackson, continues to proclaim the goodness of God trusting the Lord for the direction of this ministry. What began as a Facebook page, to cover her children’s high school class in prayer, then transitioned with her son to college. In 2019, she began a prayer page for Auburn moms. PFTNG soon added the University of Tennessee and Florida State to the movement and an official non-profit ministry was formed, December 11, 2021.

Meda Barnes

Board Secretary

Meda Barnes moved to New England 22 years ago when her husband began to attend a seminary in Boston and they began a life in vocational ministry. Twelve years ago, they planted a church with five other couples in Newton, Massachusetts. After participating in an Auburn Praying for the Next Generation Zoom prayer call, she befriended ministry founder, Barbara Jackson. Meda began the PFTNG chapter at the University of Tennessee Knoxville when her daughter began attending there. Meda now serves on the PFTNG Board. She is reminded daily of her need for and the power of prayer and considers it a privilege and joy to intercede for the next generation.
